I'm not a fan of Oklahoma, but I do often find "There Is Nothin' Like A Dame" from South Pacific stuck in my head.
Seriously, I'm in the grocery store singing "We got sunlight on the sand. We got moonlight on the sea. We got mangoes and bananas you can pick right off the tree. We got volleyball and ping-pong and a lot of dandy games! What ain't we got? We ain't got dames!" Naturally, I've received some weird looks. |

From South Pacific, mine would probably have to be "Bali Hai". But I guess I'm a little prejudiced, my mother played the part of Bloody Mary in the local production my town held when I was a little girl.
As for Oklahoma, "I'm Just A Girl Who Can't Say No" makes me laugh everytime. But when Hugh Jackman performed "Oh What A Beautiful Morning," a few years back on the Tony's, it made me appreciate how pretty that song really is. :) |
