Tell me about your South Pacific Experiences....did you like it?

I am interested most in Fiji....also compare your S.P. experiences to the Carribean.

Never visited Fiji,only lay over on way to Tonga. I spent 10 yrs in the S Pacific between Am. Samoa and Tonga. If you are just looking for a peaceful quiet vacation, the island of Va'vau in Tonga is great. It is beautiful. Not tourist overload. It was like nothing I had ever seen. People there are very kind, and you will see a way of life like nowhere else. Nothing much to do, but relax, and watch the beautiful polynesian sunsets.
