Tough call man. I'm in Charlotte, and we are 10th on the list in the highest crime rate in the country. We have great weather, near mountains, beaches, NFL, NBA and a low life baseball team where we just did a land swap last nite to build a new stadium right near the NBA arena, and NFL stadium. We are on the east coast, and easier access to everything.
However, Pacific NW is too nice! Great weather, and laid back. TOUGH CALL! |

If you're very traditional then I would say Charlotte. If you are more liberal, then Seattle.
If you like hot weather and humidity then Charlotte If you like cooler weather and don't mind rain, then Seattle. If you consider yourself a rebel, then Charlotte If you consider yourself a Yankee, then Seattle. If you like Nascar then Charlotte If you like mountain climbing, then Seattle. If you like BBQ then Charlotte If you like Cafe Latte, then Seattle. |

That last person probably doesn't know the next thing about Seattle. I live in the South and I lived in Washington (and Oregon) and I would say SEATTLE. Especially if you're from California. It does rain a lot during the winter, but it doesn't rain as heavily as it does in the South, so rain volume is almost identical to that of Georgia, etc. And you cannot compare the summers in the Northwest to the summers in the South. Northwest summers are the best; I don't think there is anywhere I'd rather be in the summer. Usually not one cloud in the sky, beautiful scenery, and a bearable temperature. The South summers are usually unbearably humid, and the landscape isn't particularly impressive either.
