What exactly is the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle on the Pacific Ocean?

First off, where exactly is the Bermuda Triangle on the Pacific?

that would be a mystery. it is in the atlantic ocean

No one really is sure. Many ships have "disappeared" out of the blue in that region of the Atlantic Ocean. That is why it is still a "Mystery".

a triangle, represented by egyptions long ago, and many more in south america and other places. now there is a bermuda triangle, some say this can be the place where dimensions cross. like into a fourth dimension.

The main mystery is to do with Flight 19, a squadron of Avengers that disappeared off the coast of Bermuda. Ships have also become lost in this area. Local conditions apparently (something to do with bubbling methane or something) can cause a loss of bouyancy in ships. The legends are under skeptism, (the theories of wild compasses etc). I think its a triangle simply because of the area covered.

The mystery is why a statistically non significant place gets so much attention. It has a lot of traffic, and is where there are strong ocean currents and shifting reefs, so it's going to give ships a lot of grief. Why get excited about it?
