If you're on a CATHAY PACIFIC flight you just wish that you're flying forever. The inflight service is one of a kind. Everyone is special even if you're just an economy class passenger. The food and inflight entertainment are one of the best in the airline industry. From pre-departure to arrival I can assure you that you'll never regret flying on a CX flight.

And don't forget to reconfirm your flight 72 hours before departure. You may complete your ONLINE CHECK-IN in their website 24 hours before departure and select your seats in advance. The seats are nice, neat and comfortable even on long-haul journey. Don't worry you'll have fun onboard.

If you're going on CP, I consider that to be second only to Singapore Airlines but not far behind.

You are in good hands. Cathay Pacific is one of the top carriers in the world. Acording to Skytrax, Cathay Pacific is a 5 star airline!
* In all classes on all flights there are more than 20 video channels and more than 20 audio channels, all running on a 2 hour cycle.
* Ten interactive games are available in all classes on all flights where the AVOD is available on the aircraft.
* The New First Class seats are fully adjustable with massage function. The new seats can be easily converted into a 36” x 81” bed.
* The New Business Class will feature suites with luxurious seats that can be converted into a 6-foot 6-inch horizontal flat bed in herring-bone configuration.
* The New Economy Class seats will have a fixed back design, which allows passengers to recline their seats without intruding on those seated behind. A larger 9" personal TV screen will be able to offer Audio Video On Demand. A larger tray table, a coat hook and a literature pocket that has been relocated to below the seat cushion which creates more leg room for passengers.

Passenger comments about Cathay Pacific:
http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/cathay.htm

"Cabin staff cheerful, warm, and they respond to call buttons very promptly. Curry chicken was one of the best inflight meal I had. Return flight pretty much the same."

"Flight was comfortable, inflight entertainment excellent, food/drinks A1, cabin crew attentive, cheerful and friendly."

"Staff were as professional and friendly. The food was good and choice of movies wasn't bad. The entertainment system of the older type. The seating on the 747-400s is better and have more toilets. "

In general, Cathy Pacific provides very good services (however, I personally think Singapore Airlines is better than CX). On the flight you will get a pair of socks, a bag of toiletries, a cushion, and a blanket. Food is good. Seats are okay, could be better. The last 4 rows on both sides are all two-seats rows so those are good if only two of you are traveling. Those rows are usually gone very early on though. In-flight entertainment are video games and movies (fairly new ones).

Since you are flying on CX, I assume your flight time is at least 12 hours. So how does it feel like to be flying for 12 hours? Let's just say the final 3 hours can be hard, unless you are in first or business class.
