My husband and I live on the East coast of the US, and we have enough frequent flyer miles for two free round trip tickets to Hawaii.. so we figured if we were going to fly that far, why not look into going further-- to a south pacific destination. We can add a flight onto our Hawaii trip, since we've already flown half way around the world. Any info or destination ideas, as well as information on the flight paths, costs or any other advice would be appreciated!

From Hawaii, you can get a flight to Saipan which is part of the USA. It is right next to Guam and Continental and Northwest fly that route. The little island called Managaha has some great snorkeling, parasailing ...
Fiji or Tahiti is very nice, Qantas flys that route. I know flights are cheap for that area connecting through Tokyo or Seoul, but I dont think Hawaii is very cheap. New Zealand is fantastic, but it is cheaper to fly from Los Angeles ... http://www.discovernewzealand.com/ |
