help..travel question within usa with out of states passport?

My boyfriends drivers license expired last month, all he has is a passport from Hungary and we are scheduled to fly to new york from tn tomorrow am. Will he be able to board the plane?!?

Yea he should be able to. If he has a green card itd be helpful also.

You don't need a drivers license OR a passport to fly within the US - you just need some form of ID.

Usually a passport is the best ID out there, even a foreign one.
