well for one thing you need a visa but being a citizen of Colombia you need to contact your embassy or the embassy of Ecuador to learn their requirements.

Please listen to my take my good advice because for this I normally do charge a nomal fee but for you I don't charge a penny.

Step 1:

Loctae the Embassy of Ecuador that is in your State. Go to them and explain everything to them and listen quietly when they talk so that they can give you some excellent advise.

Step 2:

Make your airlines, either thru your travel agent or you can go on - line, ahead of time and please keep in mind that when you make your reservations via the internet you must read the fine print.

Step 3:

Make your hotel reservations the same way you did with the airlines but in this case I recommend that you call up the major hotels that there are:

Holiday Inn 1 - 800 - HOLIDAY
Hilton Hotles 1- 800 - HHILTON
Courtyard by Marriott 1 - 800-321-22211

Other major hotels have toll free numbers. Please do not hesitate to call 1 - 800 -555-1212 for their number.

Common sense, Gustavo, tells me that you must go to the Embassy and find out what are the current requirements for entering Ecuador.

I sincerely do want to wish you the best of luck.

You need to check with the Embassy of Ecuador to Colombia to see if you need a visa.

Come on.. a Colombian citizen has never needed a visa to go to Ecuador. No matter where you live, you won't have any problem showing your Colombian passport.

More important, I don't know what your status is in the US, so make sure they'll allow you into the country when you come back.

Have a nice time in Ecuador my Colombian friend!!

Your colombian passport is ok. I have walked over the border from Colombia to Ecuador with no problem whatsoever.
I think bearing a US Visa is enough if they ask you for anything, which in the past they didnt.
