Default Will any of the lesser nations of the world ever master inter-Lunar space travel as the USA has?

We Americans placed men upon the Moon, planted our flag there, and then brought them back to Earth...all over 40 years ago.

One might suspect that 4 decades would give the lesser nations of the world a chance to catch up, technologically....but alas we stand alone in this regard

The USSR might have at one time been a contender to match our unparalleled feat, but of course they foolishly choose the destructive path of Communism.

A better question would be,'Why has America NEVER been back to the moon?'

A truly great nation would have had a chance to go back, wouldn't you think? 40 years is quite a spell...

'Lesser nations....'

What makes a nation great? A nine trillion dollar national debt? The banks and the politicians own the U.S. The days of greatness ended shortly after WWII.

Some of the lesser developed nations of the world need to master indoor plumbing and basic sanitation before they tackle space travel.

In the year 2068 the Brazilians will send the first manned flight to Titan, Saturn's largest moon. The Brazilian "Space Team" as they will be called, will all come back 100% healthy in the year 2075 but each will die from cancer within 5 years of their return.

If they do go they will be using U.S. technology.

Have You Ever Noticed, Most Countries Make Money From Copying U.S. Inventions?

I agree that the US is the leader but not for long. The Chinese is right at the back of US and in another 10 years or so it would be the leader.

Well, you've never been back to moon. The furthest you go is sub orbital space. So much for 40 years of advancement since Armstrong and co. Let's face it, the reason nobody goes to moon is becuase it was a publicity stunt and the public lost interest pretty fast. The technology from 40 years ago has been surpassed and going to the moon now would be a piece of pi$$.

China are actively trying to put a man on the moon and hope to do so within the next 15-20 years. Not bad for a Communist country.

Britain are also looking at the possibility. Space travel is becoming much cheaper and more affordable. Expect quite a few countries to go to the moon.

Perhaps many of the "lesser" nations have spent some money on having lower poverty and better health statistics.

Lesser nations haven't got the communist power of that sort of state funding and state control like america had.

You do know that the moon landing was a socialist project right? A state funded rocket, launched by a state funded project..

Ain't socialism great?
