No limit between states. I have never had anyone ask how much money I have on me. Never advertise it. You never know who is looking. Bad people are contantly looking to see how much money travelers have on them so when you open your wallet, purse, or whatever, try to not let the amount of money you have show. In case you want to buy somthing at the airport (drink, snack, etc.), you may want to keep some small amount of money in a place you can get to easily without have to bring out all your money.

No limit domestically, even across state lines.
You can carry a suitcase full of cash if you want, like in the movies. However I don't recommend carrying a suitcase full of cash because in real life, luggage on planes is sometimes lost or stolen. But there is no legal problem with carrying a suitcase full of Benjamins. Just the practical issue of theft. |
