definitely definitely must spend some quality time in new york city. its just gorgeous & so much fun. florida is really nice too if you are looking for a more tropical beachy scene. philadelphia has great food & great US history, but if you are not interested in history- it would be boring. boston is amazing as well. there is so much to do in boston & the people are really fun. atlantic city in new jersey is the east coast version of las vegas. its not as fancy and glamorous, but it has some great clubs, night life, and gambling (but you must stay in the borgata- its by far the best hotel there!) hope this helps!

Boston and New York City are two must sees. If you like history then Philadelphia and Washington DC are good. To stay out of the heat, head up to Maine and just relax for a while.
