Can I travel to USA whilst claiming my Employment Insurance?

I live in Canada and I am claiming EI at the moment. If I travel to the States, will they discontinue my benefits?

If you are complying with the requirements for receiving EI while traveling, yes.

In the US this means systematic job hunting with a listing of contact, method of contacting etc. Weekly reporting etc.

With a laptop and cellphone this may be possible. I know you can use a website if you "live" in Kansas to do your reporting.
