I am awaiting court for felony drug charges, can i travel to canada before court or will theystop me at border

I am awaiting my trial here which is in 3 for felony drug charges. I am planning a trip to canada with my girlfriend next week. I havent been convicted yet, my charges are still pending. When we try to cross the canadian border (by car) will they do a background check and refuse me or let us know? Please let me know im very nervous and dont know whether to go or not but we really want to before i have court. Please help

Just go and see what happens.

when you cross the border, they just look at your passport, and ask you why you are crossing. They dont put it into a computer unless they become suspicious.

Unless you have an outstanding warrant, I don't think that they will stop you at the border. Make sure you don't have any travel restrictions from the court, because if you violate them, and the DA discovers that you did, they'll hammer you for real.

I think with a felony charge, you are not allowed to leave your state, I would check with a lawyer first.
