Default Travelling to Canada, need assistance?

I am looking for an easier way to travel into Canadia =P So far, the only thing I've done is Greyhound. Where I live is 4 hours from my destination, and the trip is 19 hours long. This is obviously insanity. The layovers are horrible, and I hate not getting enough sleep to keep me going.

Does ANYONE (no I don't have a car) know of an alternative land method of travel? I do not have a passport yet because our gov't has extended the date for it into the summer or late spring. I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thank you!
P.S.,
I don't have a car/driver's license, nor do I have a passport. Flying/water travel as far as I've been informed requires one.

Have a friend drive you. traviling with someone is a lot safer.
You can fly, there may be good deals on. Fly stand by.

Car rentals can sometimes be quite reasonable, especially if you rent one for over the weekend.

check online for a local ride sharing program or post on a ride sharing website. it is safer than hitchhiking, and you usually just pay your share of gas.

Well, you don't have a driver's license so you can't drive and you don't have a passport either so you won't be able travel by plane to get in here....there're only two alternatives left you can either take a bus or ask someone to give you a ride that's all you can do....have a nice trip

Perhaps there are students at a university nearby who will be going in that direction and can take you with them, at least partially. Try hanging up a note in the students´ centre, or maybe there is already an organisation to call up for giving/taking rides (they have these in Germany).
