I am travelling to Canada from the U.S. A. and plan to stay and see the sights for 3 days.?

If you are coming by vehicle, you need proof of USA residence . If you are coming by plane, you need a passort to get back into the US.

I don't believe you need a passport to come here. Its more about needing one to go back to the States. But this kicks in sometime in 09 I think. A drivers license and some identification should be plenty.

By car you will need proof of citizenship and proof of residence (birth certificate and drivers license) by plane you will need a passport. Enjoy your stay.

If you go by plane, it's an obligation. If it's by car, your IDs are fine.
