My boyfriend from the UK is traveling Canada and US.?

My boyfriend wants to travel to canada but doesnt know when he wants to come home... he's going spend a few months there then come down to visit me in the US at the end then buy his ticket home when he gets here... Will immigration in Canada and the USA allow him into the country without a return ticket

Why do you have a bf that is across the Atlantic? Sounds like a stupid proposition to me.

He will be taking a big chance. I suggest he gets a return ticket. He can always change the date for a few dollars.

I'm not sure about Canada but there is no way USA immigration would let him in, as a tourist, without a return ticket.
I've been through USA immigration a number of times and one of the first questions I've been asked has always been about having a rerturn ticket; also about where I would be staying and how much money I had with me.
