You can travel without parent or a guardian if you are over 16 years old and have a passport. Both of your parents or guardians should write a letter giving you permission to (At the Canadian Customs THEY WILL check for this, it is very good to have one of those with you)

I would point out that MOST Canadian hotels or motels will NOT rent a room to someone who is not an adult ( over the age of majority in that Province ) due to legal regulations, and liability concerns. In general that means being at least 18 years of age.
A second big problem is that you cannot legally sign a contract, which is what you are doing when you "sign in to a hotel ", if you are not an adult under Canadian law. Be aware, and make decisions now. Jim b. Toronto. |
