Ok, I will be moving to Canada in August in order to study at the University of Alberta. However, after my studies I would like to go travelling for a few months. On the immigration site it says I must leave Canada when my study permit runs out... I'm not sure if I need another permit or if I can just stay?! I know it's possible to do it somehow because I've heard of others who have...
Thanks for any help... |

Yes, just obtain a visitors visa same as any other tourist would. IF you are from a country that needs a tourist visa though. You may need a student visa to study but not a tourist visa to visit.
For example, an American who wants to visit Canada doesn't need a visitors visa but he/she would need a student visa to attend school here. |
