Default Do I need a visa to travel to Canada and US from UK?

I'm a British citizen planning to travel to Canada by air and then by car to the US on a two-week holiday.
Do I need a visa to enter Canada or the US by land? Is there any charges I need to be aware of?

We're travelling in two weeks.

Going from Canada to the US you will have to go thru immigration as if you were arriving by plane..it took us a while last time and they ask a ton of questions..but theres no charges

You don't need a visa for Canada or the US (you used to need one for the US but not anymore). There should be no charges for air or land - I know in some countries you have to pay an airport tax when leaving the country but as far as i remember not for Canada or US.

All you need is a passport my friend. There isn't any fees except if your baggage is overweight.

Enjoy your trip
