Default Can my dog travel with air canada?

under my seat in a carrier with me at all times?

my dog is small and weighs about 14lbs and the carrier is 10 inches high,15 inches wide and 16 inches in length and is soft ,waterproof and has ventilation on three sides . I have all health records, vaccinations and identification for her. also i will bring in a seperate bag a small bottle of water and a small bag of food with foldable pet bowls.
i will be travelling internationally for a 10 hour flight from london to vancouver. Im unsure what type of plane as of yet but it will be around april time.

I'm pretty sure you cannot bring any pets with you in your seat.

This should answer your questions further -

Yes, but call up the airline to double check first.

No more pets in the cabin with Air Canada. No matter if you have the paper work in order or not.
Well I guess if you can prove a disability, read the link and new costs that you will have to pay.
Looks like international cost of $ 270 .
The plane could anything from Boeing 777 to Airbus A321.

Good luck in Heathrow, was there this year and its a crazy airport.

I do believe that you really like you pet dog.
So do I.
And you don't want your dog to suffer in the luggage compartment.

The best thing to do is to phone the Air Canada office in London.

Should the answer be negative, try another airline which fly London to Vancouver

Offer to buy an extra seat where you can put a security approved dog carrier.

Good luck to you and you dog
