Since this is a multicity trip the last stop is the one you need to focus on and it all depends on what that destination is; with all the terrorism fears travel rules have become more stringent so you'll likely be required to have a return ticket unless you fall in the exempt category like dual citizensip (Canadian and EU), diplomatic, etc. (and even then it still really depends on the destination)
If it's that you're not sure when you'll be returning you can check your travel agent/airline for an open ticket, it costs more than an average ticket - cuz it's not an average ticket; it's usually valid for one year and when you're ready to return you just call the airline and secure the flight. It's limiting not knowing what your other destinations are but I hope that what I could tell you helps in some way. Have a great trip! |

Let me put it this way at no time has any customs agent ever asked to see my return ticket with the possible exception of Cuba I just give them everything and they pass what they don't want back. Also make sure that you have the proper visa(s) to allow you to work in the country(ies) that you will be travelling to.
