Your green card will be enough to seek admission into both Canada and the U.S.
Persons lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who are in possession of their alien registration card (Green card), or can provide other evidence of permanent residence, do not require a visa to visit Canada.
Lawful permanent residents only need their green cards to return to the U.S. after a temporary absence. Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551, Legal Permanent Residents will continue to be able to use their Alien Registration Card (Form I-551), issued by the Department of Homeland Security, or other valid evidence of permanent residence status to apply for entry to the United States.
It would be smart to bring school ID, drivers license, or other things that show where you live and who you are.
Just have contact numbers for the people you're visiting and have their address if someone asks for it.
