Default Where is your favorite place to travel outside the U.S. and Canada? No big cities please.

If you list a country, please let me know the specific areas you like. Thanks!

Costa Rica is very pretty and unspoiled. The people there are very friendly and welcoming to tourists. If you love the outdoors and outdoor activities it is amazing.

Some things you could do: Bathe in hot springs, take canopy tours of the jungle, deep sea fish, whitewater raft, or take a boat ride down a river to see the wildlife.

But be aware that it is a slower pace of life there than here in the u.s.a.

Personally I like the west coast (Aguadilla, Rincon, Mayaguez)of Puerto Rico during our winter months.
It's relatively inexpensive, you've the Atlantic to the north, the Caribbean to the south, excellent weather (85 degrees and usually sunny every day), people are friendly and, the scenery is varied and, gorgeous.

The countryside of Luxembourg, specially the north eastern part of the country, called Little Switzerland, if mostly in German or French.
The north, the Ardennes, is great too, but less spectacular.
