I know that they were going to begin requiring passports for U.S citizens to go to Canada. I am not sure when this takes effect. If it has not, a drivers license and another form of picture id is usually fine. Enjoy.

They were going to start that you needed a passport but I am not sure Last I was there I only needed my birth certificate. So I would get both just to be safe. Have Fun

If you are a permanent resident of the United States you need to bring your green card or other proof of your right to enter the United States. You also need to bring your current, valid passport, along with a Canadian visa if you need one. You can find out if you need a visa by either contacting the consulate or embassy of your home country or Canada. The fact that you are entitled to reside in the United States does not mean that you will be allowed to enter Canada.
