Im traveling to Canada and know that whenever I go there my calls on my cells phone are charged for roaming?

but are texts messages then i send and recieve going to come up as a roaming charge even though I have unlimited texting all through out the US? I will mostly be texting with people from the US while I am in Canada

It's throughout the US that your text message option is free, like you pointed. I think even if it's text messages you will be charged a fee in Canada for using the system there, sorry.
