Do you live in the US? Then why not keep your money here in the country? Seattle is a gorgeous city and the surrounding areas are fantastic. You can see volcanos, go skiing, go wine tasting, go kayaking with Orcas, take in a baseball/football/basketball game, or just hang out and sightsee all in a 24-48 hour period. You could then drive down the 5 and see the state capitol, Mt St Helens, the Columbia River Gorge, and a load of other things further south.
