Just bring the same thing as if you were travelling in the states!! The person who told you to bring warm clothes is an idiot. Its been 90-100 degrees with the humidex here. You don't need to bring anything. Whatever you can get in the states, you can get here bud.

Where in Canada????? It's going to matter. Ignore the previous posts - we're just going to snicker at you if you show up with your parka.... yes, it's Summer here too.
Please check www.weathernetwork.com and enter your destination city or cities for the most up to date forecasts. |

depends where you are going, but you will be fine bringing the clothes you would wear in the states. We've had amazing weather in Edmonton lately, like low 30's for most days, with a little rain. Bring a little bit of everything, you can always layer up, if your not used to the weather! Welcome to Canada! Its awesome here! And honestly there isn't that much pick-pocketing...that guy made it sound like Spain or something...its really not that bad at all! Bring your sun glasses, eh? Haha!

The temperatures will vary a bit depending on where you are going but the temperatures right across the country have been in the high eighties to well over a 100 degrees. Bring lots of cool clothes like shorts and tank tops. Make sure to bring sandals, a bathing suit and some sunscreen. If the heat bothers you bring a hat or cap and don't forget your sunglasses. A couple of pairs of jeans and a sweater for cooler days and a sundress or two for dressing up. Bring a light jacket if you are going to be in the Rockies or on the ocean though because it can get quite cool in those areas in the evening. Other than that just bring yourself and a camera because you're sure to want to take home a bunch of pictures. The weather can change very quickly here however so if you want to check the forecast closer to your day of departure here is the website. http://www.theweathernetwork.ca/features/schoolday/pages/CAMB0032.htm
I hope this info is helpful to you. Have a great holiday and welcome to Canada. |

Depends on where you are going. Ignore the whole parka comment...it's summer here and the temp ranges depending on where you go. It has gotten up to 38 degrees (C) in some parts!!!! Just bring what you normally would...
I personally haven't experienced the pick-pocketing thing...I wonder where that person went? I guess you gotta just be careful anywhere you go in this world! |
