There is no difference in price, but you might ant to buy it coming back. That way, you won't have to carry it around at your destination.

Before you leave Canada go to duty free store at border crossings or airports. You pick out your liquor or smokes in the store, and then you exchange the reciept for the goods just before your re-enter the US or board your flight.

If you're talking about just buying it from Canada, but it anytime you want... If you're talking about the duty free, which I (for obvious reasons) would suggest, you *must* buy it coming back.

Why? Becuase you can only shop there if you've been in the country for like 24 hours or something like that. If you try to buy it once you come over they won't let you lol.

Have fun!

Buy it going back, so you don't have to pack it around while you're here. If you're coming by plane, there is duty free available at the airport. Just make sure you get there a little early so you have time to place your order. There are also duty free shops at the major border crossings, if you're driving.
