I want to go on a trip to the Middle East (Iran/Egypt) is it an okay place to travel alone?not from there?

Don't speak the language, don't have any family/friends from there. I just want to go..meet some new people. Particularly the men! I finish Uni. soon so im thinking of going..has anyone gone just for a vacation?

This is a good way to get yourself hurt. Iran is not in the Middle East.

I have no idea about Egypt, but for Iran I can help you on this.
first of all, in Iran you can go to any place that Iranian people going for visit,... there is no restriction.
May be you heared many stories against Iran about country security,... but you will discover the truth when ever you come here.

Egypt is ok, can be annoying with men hitting on you constantly, but you will be safe. Iran, I dont recommend it.

Iran is absolutely safe and very rich in history and I recommend you to visit there! Egypt is rich in history too but I have heard it is not that safe for a girl travelling alone there!
