I travel back and forth to the middle east on business.?

I am constantly being harrassed by authorities. I would like to obtain a lawyer to make my depature and arrival less stressful. I understand and agree with the heighten security level post 9/11 however I am a natural born citizen of the United States. I am African American, if this at all helps. Where can i find info on obtaining a lawyer to assist me?

Instead of crying foul at the process and fighting to decrease security for all of us, why don't you put up with it as the price of doing business?

If you are travelling to the Middle East regularly, there is the option of securing a "fast pass" which would allow TSA to conduct a background check on you. Then, you would not have to endure the harassment you speak of at the airport.

If you seek an attorney, they will think you have something to hide. If you still wish to pursue an attorney, be prepared to provide evidence of the harassment you have experienced. Including, names, dates, hardships you endured, etc.

I am a white female and extensively harrassed by the govt police and other govt agencies. The reason was i provided 9-11 info and somehow got onto a LIST. I have written to the FBI, and to the Inspector general of my state about this. I found a corrupt cop, with a bone about me , placed a notation in the police 911 national computer check system.He told people i was crazy or mentally unstable. Every time I got stopped there was a note to insult, embarrass, humiliate me and call me crazy. they had cops called in their cars to pull me over and give me the third degree. They had officers, when I was a real crime victim, asking about my medicine, drs, when the last time I saw a Dr, and they failed to get license plates numbers, faces, car descriptions, witness names, and other pertinent info.
You can hire a lawyer, but go to the police dept and see whats listed in the national check system about you first. then
See what needs to be done to remove it. Right now terrorism is at an all time high locally. People assume terrorists are just arabs. That isnt true. Many african nations have lesser known terrorist organizations and of course your traveling to a higher known area. Maybe get a letter of verification from your state reps office, or have a background check run on you, and bring it with you.
Youll just have to bear with it and know youre not the only person being inconvenienced for saftey of us all.
PS not to be rude, but why do blacks make such a big fuss about this? it happens to all of us, whites, hispanics, asians, malaysians. we just dont make alot of noise about it. its to deter any future 9-11 again.. Grin and bear it.
