Best travel destination for gay couple?

My partner and I would like to know where is the best place to trave to for vacation that is gay friendly and where we can just relax and be ourselves?
I guess I should limit it to the continental US. Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions....keep em commin'

Hmmm...I'd say Hawaii, Florida, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, or somewhere like that, but I don't know if they're gay-friendly. Northern California is gay-friendly, but their beaches suck. Perhaps Monterey Beach in Northern California? Do some research online.

south mole island in austarlia is beautiful, im not sure that it's gay friendly but i think it is.

Provincetown, MA is an awesome vacation spot. I went there last summer. Pride flags were everywhere. Gay and lesbian couples openly holding hands while walking around, and the locals don't think anything of it. It's the "norm" there, which is very cool.
