Cheese. I think it would be more satisfying, more nutritious, less likely to melt, and shoot.......I love CHEESE!!!!

Cheese since it doesn't melt as easily as butter.

Depends on how far, how long you'll be gone and what you're carrying it in. If you have a cooler (small or large) both are ok. No cooler then I'd say peanut butter and jelly are safest.

I'm not sure I understand, but cheese is a better snack and butter (in a tub) lasts longer than cheese. Especially because I like my cheese cold if it's cheddar or american.

I am no expert but, I saw a show called Unwrapped: Road Food on the Food Network. They stopped at some cheese castle in Wisconsin. The owner said that Cheese is the perfect on the road food since it does not actually need refrigeration until it is opened. I hope that helps you. Also, I do cook alot, Cheese would be less likely to melt if you were traveling with it. If it does soften up, just pop it in the fridge for a little bit. You can check the food network's website for more tips.
