In most hotels they have at least 1 chair and a table. Just sit her at the table and give her diced up, healthy adult food and jarred baby food. Avoid giving her anything spicy or too fatty because travel can give babies an upset stomach quickly. My son gets diarrhea every time we drive home to Indiana. We would just bring some juice boxes, his milk/formula, baby food (I think it was Gerber's 3rd step they have little food trays out now too) and then let him have some of whatever we were eating.

If you're still using an infant car seat, that can work well pulled up to a table. Instead of letting her self feed, feed her fruits and veggies yourself from baby food jars. You don't have to worry about refrigeration with jared baby food either. I travel all the time with my 16 month old son. Sometimes I revert back to baby food when travel necessitates getting a quick meal in him.

the new toddler lunchables are good, my kids love them. they have diced meats, cheese, yogurt, peanut butter, raisins, crackers, ect... also, dry cereals that are whole grain.
if you have a refrigerator, you can give her juices, water, milk, fruit, cut up veggies ect.. also microwavable mac and cheese and kid cuisine (in the freezer section of the supermarket). good luck! |

All of my kids were eating regular food by 13 months and feeding themselves with spoons.. I would sit them on my lap at the table if they had one or make a picnic on the floor on a blanket and share a plate of cut up food with them. We always brought a cooler with sandwiches, fruit that could be cut up and dry cereal like cheerios for snacks. Turkey hot dogs can be warmed up under the hot water tap also! We would keep milk and juice in the cooler, too.
We practiced having picnics at home so it was easy to do when travelling. My 3 youngest were very close together and we loved to go away for the weekends but were on a tight budget so it made sense to play picnic at home so we all knew what to expect when travelling. We also would sleep in the front room or family room on occasion to see how they handled a different sleeping arrangement. It was fun and they got used to sleeping whereever they were without a problem. Have fun! |

Use the stroller as a high chair and feed her things you would normally give her at home..
Vienna sausages Sandwhich meat, esp. bologna. Crackers. The veggie sticks that are found in the baby food aisle. Don't worry about the mess. It's the motel's job to clean the room. Just make sure you only stay there once. |
