My family and I have a 20 hour layover in Milan 9/9-9/10. It's my wife and I plus kids who are are 22, 17,16,15 and 8. We are looking for something fun to do and someplace to stay. We are on a tight budget and like doing "local" back door things.
Any suggestions? |

You may want to take a basic tour of Milan which should include the entry to the Last Supper. This is a good deal because it is unlikely that you can see it on your own because of long waiting list.
You should visit Duomo and go to the roof. Than hang out and walk around the piazza by the Duomo. If you have time, you can walk around the fashion district. Ask your hotel about good local restaurants. We had good luck with the local recommendation. I also have a few pictures below. Have a great trip. |
