Default If you could travel back in time to any point in your family history, when would you go to?

Not just in your lifetime, but your parents, grandparents, etc.

To see the "oh crap" expression on my Dad's face when my mom said she was pregnant with me.

To the point where my parents were about to have sex to have me and beg my dad to use a condom.

Toss-up:

I would go back to when the three Lokey brothers stepped off the boats at Ellis Island sometime in the mid-19th century and find out what our family name is and from where in the world we originate. It is a question that has always plagued me.

I would go back to World War II when my maternal grandfather, a member of the Air Corps and quite the ladies' man got caught one night making out with a girl in the rumbleseat of his buddy's old jalopy. Unfortunately, the emergency brake gave out and the jalopy rolled down an embankment throwing the young lady clear but breaking his leg.
In the Army hospital where he was taken, his leg was set by the lovely young Army head nurse who would become my grandmother.

I'd go back to a certain person's childhood and see what made him/her such an evil, vile, loathesome, disgusting excuse of a human being - then I might be more understanding for all the lives this person destroyed in my family.

my grandma's 50th birthday. it was in 1990 and i was so tiny. Just turned 5 yrs. What made this party so special was all the grandkids were bought new outfit from London. i was so happy like i have never been. She says that if she hits 70yrs that will be 2010, she will throw another party. I cant wait for it to come. This time i am as cute as ever and they better buy clothes from london again.
