Can anyone recommend a family friendly spanish resort/hotel close to an airport. travelling in August.?

I'm looking for a hotel, either Spain or spanish island, where my 12 year old son and I can go in August. I thought a kids club would be a good idea so he can meet other children. Some sort of sport club would be ideal. Any suggestions?
