How do you feel about leaving your family and travelling for work reasons?

I think normally when people are in this situation, they are at an age where they are most likely married, or might not be. But my question is if the person is married, I bet it must be hard to leave the wife or husband and possibly kids to go fly somewhere for a couple of weeks for business/work, right? Or do you find it to be a good break and refreshes the relationship? Would you be able to deal with this from your significant other in a relationship?

I;m having that situation. It's really hard and heartbeaking. But we do it for the sake of our whole family
