Has anyone traveled to Prypiat, Ukraine?

If you have gone, where did you get the tour? And how was the experience?

That would be an amazing trip- talk about time-travel. I believe the Friends of Pripyat (a support-group for former residents) should be able to help.

Here's a story of a brave traveler from Michigan on his visit to Pripiat', Chornobyl" (Chernobyl) and the station.
I think it'll help you to be better prepared as the access to the Zone is controlled and you would need a special permission to enter there.
