I went to Sofia, Bulgaria like 20 years ago, and it was great, i don't think its expensive. Very nice sceneries and people.

life in Bulgaria and especially in Sofia is super. I live in Sofia and I can tell you that possibilities for fun are endless.

There are many clubs with various music - disco, jazz, po-folk (you can hear such music only in Bulgaria).

If you like sightseeing like churhes, museums - there are many. Cathedral Alexander Nevski is a symbol of Sofia. National Historic museum is in Sofia, district Boyana.
