which is the cheapest way to travel in Romania?

i want to see my own country and ii don't know how to make this possible. i am a student, and some of the prices are reduced, but not too much....

Why not try some voluntary work for Oxfam or someother.

Walking is a cheap mode of transportation. take a walking tour of Romania but do not travel in the province of Transylvania at night.

i'd have to say the cheapest way to get around is by train. they do make discounts for students and some of them are pretty substantial. if you don't want to travel a very long distance, buses are a good idea as well. some of the bus companies have student discounts as well. a speedy solution are mini-buses, but they are a bit more expensive than buses/trains. hope this helped...
