Default Which last longer Asian Imports Cars or Eastern Europe Imports Cars.?

I am currently in the market of buying a used car and was wanting some people's opioin on what they thought on Eastern Europe Cars (AKA BMW, Merdeces) compared to Asian Made Cars (AKA Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Acura) I am currently looking into mid-90's models of both imports and was wondering i what other people thought about them. The BMW i am looking at is a 1996 323i with 150,000 miles on it and the other is a 1998 Toyota Camry with 160,000 miles on it. if you could just put what you hav heard last longer and what has cheaper parts for the cars.

Asian, no contest. There are more Toyotas, Honda, Isuzu, Nissan, Hyundai, Kias on the road than any european product.

The March issue of Consumer Reports lists the top five imported
autos regarding reliability and safety. Three of those were (in
order): Honda Prelude, Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Passat.
But your own preference is what will most influence your purchase.

With that many miles on a vehicle, it's much more important to know how well the cars have been maintained. A BMW with oil changes done every 3K will out last any Camry which has never had it's oil changed.

At this stage for both vehicles, you best bet is to have compression tests done on their engines to determine the conditions of their rings and valves and to have the transmissions inspected to ensure that the transmission fluids are good and have been well maintained.

To make any car last a long time, maintenance is key!
