how do i become more outgoing? im sophomore in HS and just moved here from eastern europe?

I'm not really sure, because I'm one of the most anti-social people you will ever talk to, but just try to fit in. Talk to people around you and make some new friends. Eventually it will come naturally. Lets just say that I've moved a lot and was pretty good at being outgoing. Be yourself, you'll have fun.

As Neo said, just be polite and friendly, but not too friendly. It is a good idea to sort of sit back and discover who is who, as far as the troublemakers, jerks, druggies, etc. You can't tell sometimes at first meet. Once you determine which folks are appropriate, you can open up a bit more to them and see if a friendship develops. It sucks to be lonely, but some times it is a good choice at first. If you get labeled stuck-up or even worse names, so be it. Those are the folks you didn't want to be friends with anyway! You will meet decent people, you must just be picky in this day and age or you will get into trouble.
