What percentage of immigrants came from southern and eastern Europe between 1840 and 1860?

I believe there was a decent amount because that was the great migration. So I believe 40 percent.

a lot... women dominated the textile factories until 1840's & 50's when large scale immigration began... Irish men & women during the Great Famine 45-51, Germans, & Scandinavians... I'm not sure what percentage tho. but alot.
