Famous places for Poland I think are Auchwitz and the capital city, Warsaw.

I can only tell you about Romania

Slovenia is the part of former Yugoslavia that has survived the past war best. They are already part of European Union, they adopted the euro currency just last year and the tourism there is increasing massively all the time.

stupid question,.there is libraries,books,lessons of geography (in high school) at least...

Some of the countries you listed are not in eastern Europe, for example Croatia and Slovenia.
