Sorry, folks.The answer is that Hungary revolted in 1957 and was brutally suppressed, and Czechoslovakia tried to put into place a more democratic government, replacing a Soviet-run Communist one in 1968, which the Soviets repressed by military invasion.
Greece is not an Eastern Europoean country. (Check your maps). Poland never openly resisted, and Yugolslavia was a client state of the Soviets until Tito's death. |
