Yea I would toss the nod to Finland and Yugoslavia but one could also argue for Turkey and Greece each of which required Western Aid - - -

Sorry, folks.The answer is that Hungary revolted in 1957 and was brutally suppressed, and Czechoslovakia tried to put into place a more democratic government, replacing a Soviet-run Communist one in 1968, which the Soviets repressed by military invasion.

Greece is not an Eastern Europoean country. (Check your maps). Poland never openly resisted, and Yugolslavia was a client state of the Soviets until Tito's death.

Poland. armed resistance from 1944 to 1956, worker's uprisings in 56, 70 and 80. The last one was successful- Solidarnosc
