Bulgaria - go to varna its on the coast and is really nice
Slovenia- lake bled is stunning but then so are all parts of the julian alps stay here for a long time people are v friendly its beautfiul and cheap
Romannia - Brasov is nice but dont bother with Bucharest or Bran castel -bucharest is a bit like milton keynes - no offence to Milton Keynes
Greece - AVOID THE ISLANDS!!! v touristy and will ruin the trip. if u need to get a boat to italy from greece get it from Igoumentisa
Czech republic - try Cesky Krumlov its a smaller more attractive and less busy Prague
Poland - Krakow is a must
Latvia and Lituania - if u make it this far north both these countires are stunning.
HAve an amazing time - Eastern Europe is an amazing place to travel round

Poland - Krakow is a beautiful city, good shopping opportunities, food is cheap and tasty
Ex-Yugoslavia - Sarajevo is quite different, beautiful architecture and culture. Mostar is also worth checking out. However, it is very hot in the summer, so it is better to visit it during spring. If you are in Moster, Croatia is not far away, and you could visit Dalmacija, which is the coast of Croatia. Dubrovnik is also a must-see. Other cities: Zagreb and Beograd
Czech Rebublik - Brno and Prague. Prague has everything - shopping, good food, culture, nightlife.
Romania - Bucuresti has a good nightlife and shopping.

try Ohrid, Macedonia. It's breathtaking, amazing, beautiful, with unesco protected lake (one of the oldest in the world), with 365 churches, 4 every day of the year (Ohrid is the place where christianity was first introduced in Europe), place of the first european university, place with great traditional food, grat hospitable people, cheap prices...

have fun!!!

I can also recommend Slovenia from the bottom of my heart; not only for the great mountainous area by Lake Bled in the north but also because of the great beaches and warm weather in the southern part of Slovenia, particularly in Portoroz area! It is indeed cheap and not too crowded with tourists, and the people there are very friendly and speak English.
