Buenos Aires appartement?

I am looking for a modest Buenos Aires appartement to recommend to a friend going to the city next year. My research on the internet landed me on the rentals with really fancy apartments that made think if my friend can afford it. So, I am looking for a humble apartment anywhere in this city, perhaps the rent is much more reasonable and cheaper. Many thanks
