1, Is it possible 2. Is it advisable 3, If the answer to these is yes, then approx journey time and cost (if known) 4, And any tips, things to look out for, avoid, do, etc... please send your reply to me at darrenashford2007(at)yahoo.co.uk You advised me to stay in sunny beach or nearby, or to go to sofia the capital. And you also suggested I fly from sofia to romania. I know all about that, my question was about train journey to Bucarest. Not visiting sofia or flying. What is wrong with you people? Are you that stupid? |

I'm bulgarian and I'm telling you not to take the train. It's going to be cheap but it's dirty, the trains are old, like 30-40 years old, there are some new but i doubt you'll be lucky enough. But if you want an interesting experience or want to meet new people,go for it.You don't have to worry for anything else, it's pretty safe.Plan B may be to take a bus. They are clean, new, one of the best bus networks in europe.Good Luck

Many Trains are new
But I have been to Romania and Bulgaria Bulgaria is much better why would you want to go to Romania lol Bulgaria is such a beautiful country I always visit it It has amazing beaches, mountains, girls, nightlife, museums, ancient tombs, ancient cities, ancient artifacts, restaurants, scenic views, amazing resorts etc. All of the 3 options are safe. Nothing to worry about. But If you have to go to Romania you can 1. take the train The train is nice and the road I think is very beautiful in Bulgaria you pass through mountains and lakes and abandonned houses its really cool. There are also many brand new trains 2. The bus might be faster, but it might not be, also a good choice, but not as fun in my opinion 3. Go to Sofia (Bulgarian Capital) and take a plane (bulgaria air has brand new planes) and you can go 1st class on Bulgaria Air...very comfortable. I love the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, especially Sunny Beach, Golden Sands, Nessebar< Sozopol and St. Vlas Varna is good too I love all ove Bulgaria soo beautiful. good luck! |

By rail? Traveling by train in Europe can be a bit expensive, why don't you try low cost carriers in Europe. Either EasyJet or Ryanair? You can travel anywhere in Europe with those 2 airlines for a fraction of what you would pay if you traveled by rail.
There's a website that I found, which sells a book that informs you on useful travel information, how to save on airfare, hotels, car rentals. Check it out http://www.myairfaressecrets.com |
