I don't think they're that racist. No one votes for us, not because they're racist but because they hate the English for being well, English - we can't win. Every country I've been to, I have ended up lying at some point where I come from because I get such bad reception when someone doesn't like the English. Tonight Matthew, I come from Australia.

Not a hope in hell. I don't know why we bother to humiliate ourselves. We are just allowing them to laugh at us every year. Admittedly in past years our songs hav'nt been the best, but its getting ridiculous now. We should make a stand and pull out of this farce. This country also puts the most money in to stage the contest, so if we pulled out, these racist eastern countries will have to pay for it themselves.The UK organisers should have more pride and stop us being a laughing stock, I know its supposed to be a bit of fun, but in my opinion, enough is enough. Let them get on with it without us
