erm Caroline needs a geography lesson. I have heard Bulgaria is nice but to be honest with you just go to London! there are more eastern Europeans there than back in their scummy homeland lol. Don't be fooled its not cheap anymore either. My ex took our kids there last year and was shocked it cost her a fortune
why thumbs down its bloody true Eastern Europe is a scum pit the hotels are dirty and not safe they are very dangerously built the people are pigs. We went to Rhodes last year and our hotel was filled with Russians the local police were there every night arresting drunken Russians and Poles. The hotel manager/owner told us he would never allow Eastern Europeans to stay there again. They are simply decades behind us and the new freedoms they have recently won have totally corrupted them beyond belief. "MIKI" The whole point of yahoo answers is to answer the question thru your own knowledge and experience. Any idiot can go to wikipedia and copy and paste . Dont you think the asker can do that for themselves? It really frustrates me when all you get is a load of copied text from some website or another. |

Albena, Bulgaria is a major Black Sea resort in northeastern Bulgaria, situated 12 km from Balchik and 30 km from Varna. Albena is served by the international airport of Varna.
Serenity at the beach - evening calmed Black Sea.Albena is one of the purpose-built resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and has a uniform and unique architectural style. Many of the hotels are situated on the beach itself, exposed to maximum sunlight and providing direct access to the beach and sea. Albena is located close to other tourist, cultural and commercial centres and in the same time remains within well-preserved natural surroundings. Although it was built on an empty ground in the 1960s, now this is in fact a small resort town with its own downtown, streets, squares and even internal public transport — dedicated little "trains" circulate on schedule along their routes within the resort. |

I loved Croatia although Czech Republic is also wonderful!
Croatia has wonderful coastlines that are STUNNING!...there are several towns up and down the coast worth seeing. Dubrovnik is probably the prettiest ( but touristy) and is lovely with ammazing views of the sea! Split is quite lively and is also right on the water. Zadar for me had less english speakers and less to do but still was worth seeing ( agian on the water) and a few nice views, buildings etc. There are islands to visit, or you can go by ferry. The National lakes are apparently very worthwhile ( recommended to me but ran out of time) Zargreb is inland and has a completly different feel to the coastal towns but its the largest ( and feels like a city compared to towns like the others) I understand that hiring a car is a good way to get around as there are no trains along the coast ( buses are the way to get around) but with a family it would be worthwhile as you can stop where you want. Czech repbulic is pretty and has some amazing history!!! I went to Prague and around the southern bohemia region eg cesky krumulov but I am sure there are lots of other places to see! |
